πππππ I always enjoy a good mystery so I was delighted to discover Ladybug Ladybug Fly Away Home written by Caroline Hemingway. The plot is good β a bit scary at times β it is well written and I thoroughly enjoyed the story. I look forward to reading more books by this author.
Available in print or on Kindle.
Books for Kids
One of my greatest passions is to create resources and books for younger children (Infancy to Grade 2) because they are like sponges, absorbing huge amounts of information at an early age. This is the optimum time to build their confidence, to nurture their uniqueness, and to teach them values and social skills that embrace empathy, kindness and love for themselves, and others.
I have the privilege of working in kindergartens, providing additional support to children with special needs. As a result, I have learned a lot from the wonderful little people I share my day with. One thing I have discovered is the importance of making children feel heard, encouraged, and capable as individuals. Learning should be engaging, and incidental when children are very young - so much learning takes place through play when we take time to have fun with our children.

πππππFun with Llamas
Counting llamas has never been so fun. Crazy characters and colourful illustrations. Great for kids and written in fun rhyme.
"It is not enough to simply teach children to read; we have to give them something worth reading. Something that will stretch their imaginationsβsomething that will help them make sense of their own lives and encourage them to reach out toward people whose lives are quite different from their own."
